Jeff has been coach, Scoutmaster, teacher, counselor and mentor to numerous teenage boys.  Beginning shortly after his son, Brian’s, thirteenth birthday, he also began leading and teaching in mentoring groups for young men.  Brian is now eighteen years old, knows Jesus Christ as his Lord, is strong and courageous in his faith and his identity as a man, has a sound Christian world view and is prepared to pursue God’s calling for him in life.  This is Jeff’s prayer for all young men.

Jeff has also taught various  classes for parents of boys, sharing  a vision of Christ-centered manhood for the next generation of men.  He has developed a strategy for equipping men to mentor their sons, the fatherless boys and all young men.

In Squires to Knights - Mentoring Our Teenage Boys, Jeff informs, inspires and educates men who want to make a difference for their sons and any young men under their influence.  He has also founded Squires2Knights Ministries, offering resources for Christ-centered mentorship by fathers, coaches, Scoutmasters and mentors of all kinds.

Jeff has been married to his wife, Lynn, for 23 years and has two teenagers, Brian and Kristen.
